START Kick-off Meeting

The kick-off meeting of the project START THE CHANGE was successfully completed in Zagreb, Croatia, on 28th February and 1st March 2017. Partners from Slovenia, Italy, United Kingdom and Croatia met and exchanged their experience in working with schools and young people and discussed the details of the project activities.

The two key aims of the meeting were accomplished, the introduction to partners about the proper project and financial management as well as the presentation and discussion about the educational concepts and theoretical background of the good practice to be used in the project. Partners also discussed the good practices of the qualitative partnership in order to adopt the best approach in coordinating the project activities from the start of the project.

Currently, the team members from Slovenia, United Kingdom and Italy are working on organizing the research “If I was someone” that will help in identifying the opinions and visions of young people about the diversity in their lives and societies. Also, the training experts from all four organizations will soon meet again in Zagreb to adapt the training program “Start the Change” and exchange their good practices in the field of peacebuilding, intercultural education and active citizenship.
